Reasons and Countermeasures of Inaccurate Measurement of Vortex Flowmeter

In the measurement of steam, liquid and gas, the most used flowmeter is the vortex flowmeter, which is not only easy to install, but also has high measurement accuracy.

As a kind of flowmeter, vortex flowmeter has many advantages, but in the process of operation, it is inevitable that there will be various failures, among which z.ui common is that the measurement of vortex flowmeter is inaccurate. So, why is the measurement of the vortex flowmeter inaccurate?

First of all, the inaccurate measurement of the vortex flowmeter is probably caused by the failure to select the vortex flowmeter well. Generally speaking, the diameter and flow range of different vortex flowmeters will affect the measurement results of the vortex flowmeter as shown in Figure 1. Therefore, when we choose a vortex flowmeter, we must choose according to accurate parameters, so that we can choose a vortex flowmeter with a suitable diameter. If the vortex flowmeter does not match, you can use the variable diameter method to solve it.

Secondly, the inaccurate measurement of the vortex flowmeter may also be caused by the fluctuation of the flow during the measurement process. If you want to avoid such a situation, you need to ensure that the front and rear straight pipe sections of the vortex flowmeter are matched when installing the vortex flowmeter, so as to ensure the stability of the vortex flowmeter measurement.

After z.ui, the inaccurate measurement results of the vortex flowmeter may also be due to a problem in the direction of parameter setting. Because of the parameter problem, the secondary surface full scale calculation of the vortex flowmeter is wrong.

Countermeasures, when there is a problem with the parameters, the actual full-scale frequency will fail, and the measurement result will be inaccurate. Therefore, before using the vortex flowmeter, you must adjust the parameter setting direction accurately, so that there will be no faults.
